Later, he got interest in drama and studied it from American College in Switzerland. Later he moved to the University of Miami and continued his education in drama. His passion for acting grew so much that he left the university in between and left for New York to pursue his acting.

He was first casted for a role in an adult movie, “The Party at Kitty.” After that, he got chances to have different minor and side roles in the films. It was the start of the 1970s while he was struggling with his acting and was also trying his hand in writing. In 1975, he got inspired by Muhammad Ali’s and Chuck Wepner’s fight and wrote a story about a struggling thug. The story came forward in 1976 when he himself was casted in the film as a hero. Rocky was released in 1976.

Rocky was the turning point in the career of Stallone. He got recognition throughout the industry and became famous. The film was such a hit that it earned more than $117 Million.The Academy Awards nominated this movie for ten times. In 1979, Stallone again appeared in the sequel of the Rocky by the name, ‘Rocky 2’. The 1980s proved a fruitful time for Stallone, and he earned a lot of wealth and fame during this.

Rambo was another very big hit of Stallone. It was released in 1982 and Stallone did a strong physical exercise and training for transformation in this movie.
